Keyswitchs management

I am sure this suggestion is relevant for a lot of customers. As you know, the majority of VI use keyswtiches to modify articulations. Some of them offers a wide range of articulations... and, consequently a very sophisticated Keyswtichs management. We have two problems : first, this feature introduce notes on the score who create great confusions, second, if we use a lot of VI, we have a lot of difficulties to remember the articulation attached to each keyswtich. May I suggest you to introduce for each midi track, the possibility to add a "phantom" KS track using only KS notes, but possibly some controlers too, with two essential features :
- possibility to introduce an explicite definition of the midi notes (as on your drum maps) : legato, spiccato, pizzicato, up bend ... which will be stored in the project
- to view with ou without the midi real playable notes in the piano roll view.
It could be interesting too, to view the exact playable keyrange of the VI on the pinao roll view
You coud suggest to create two midi tracks to avoid this difficultie but, with this procredure, we have not explicitation of the significiance of the KS
Thank you to hear "orchestral composer" needs ... as I am.
PS : as you know, your competitor Steinberg offer this kind of feature.

There are at least two other requests here that I've seen. I voted, but I'm not completely sold on the described implementation as compared to the other requests...

Agreed, something is needed, I am not sure this is the "best" solution but it sounds functional.

VST Expression maps look really cool for this type of work. This plus the notaion capabilities of Cubase makes it appealling for people doing extensive orchestral work. Not for me. Love my Sonar too much ...

It'S right... It could be good to introduce Articulation/ controlers map for great VI banks (Vienna, 8dio, Cinematic, Spitfire/kontakt, EastWest ....). it could be fine for a wide range of orchestral music composers...
