Batch Freeze of selected audio tracks???

Hi Fellas,

In one of my projects last night I wanted to freeze 10 guitar tracks to free up my cpu and I couldn't figure out how to multi select (audio tracks) and with one click freeze the tracks I selected. I had to manually do this one track at a time.

Is it possible to select multiple audio tracks and then "batch" freeze them with one click instead of have to select each one manually and wait for it.... select another ..... wait ..... etc. ?

Regards,
Craig

You can control-click to select all tracks you want to freeze (or shift-click to select a range), then while holding down the Ctrl key, click the Freeze button on one of the tracks.  SONAR will then freeze all selected tracks, albeit one at a time.

I tried that multiple times and it doesn't work for me.

I'm constantly using the ctl key sequence in my workflow for many other things but for some reason it doesn't work for me while trying to freeze multiple tracks. Could there be a condition in one of the selected tracks that prevents the entire group from being "freezed"?

    This is incorrect.
SONAR does not support batch freeze / unfreeze.

I stand corrected. I SWORE I've done this when working with a bunch of orchestral soft synths. I was so sure that I opened up a new session, tracked handful of soft synths, then selected them all and Ctrl-clicked on one freeze button to prove that I wasn't crazy.

Yep. I'm crazy. Didn't work. But it should! :)

My bad, sorry for the misleading info.
