phantom click

hello and greetings, now THIS is strange. it seems i'm getting a phantom click on my audio tracks, I only hear it when I stop playing, it's very faint, I have to really listen to hear it.
before you ask, yes, I have the click while record/playback disabled. in fact, i'm not even using a count in click.
I told you it's strange.
does anyone have any ideas?

I did hear a phantom click some years ago. It was caused by my wrist watch going closer than about two inches from the guitar strings. It did took me awhile to find the cause.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

that's interesting, however, i have a quartz watch, i'm going to look through some other projects and see if it's on other songs.
    it's very strange.
also, i'm having a hell of a time getting used to platinum, my life was so much better with X-2.
    anyhow, thanks for your answer.

Is it possible you recorded to a click with an open mic and it was loud enough to leak out of your headphones? This will put a faint click on your recorded track.

If so, the EX-29 headphones sound lousy and are uncomfortable but will permit LOUD headphone levels without leak.
