Tracking for Fall Back In Love

A while back I was asked by someone in Australia (I've lost the e-mail link and name) to track Pedal Steel Guitar for the song "Fall Back In Love" that they were working on.  They sent me a preliminary track and no specific instructions.  I'm an old country music picker but I tracked steel through the entire song and sent it to them.  With steel on the entire song they could pick and choose which parts they wanted.   That is the last I've heard from anyone.  I don't know if they liked the steel track, used any of it or even if the project was completed.

Here is a quick mix of my steel track and the song track.

firebird, my apologies, it was me.

It was during a period when we were compiling songs for an album and working to a deadline and I suppose the finer points of etiquette lapsed.
Unfortunately the song didn't make the cut, and was put aside for future review.

The song was written by songwriter and a regular contributer to this forum, Herb Hartley.

Thanks for clearing that up.  I ran across the project recently and that was why I brought it up now.  It would have been nice to at least tell me if I was on the right track or totally off on what I did.

Just prior to this track, I did a steel track for a New Zealand studio and it was a different story with lots of communications and my steel track and the song I tracked was one of the songs on the CD.
