I think I have a font fix for Lexicon PCM Reverbs in Sonar.

I've been plagued by my Lexicon PCM Reverbs not working 100% in Sonar Plat since I switched to Windows 10. They would load, but I couldn't read any of the fonts on the plug. It was just a garbled mess that looked like little squares with lines coming off of them. I tried Sonar Plat, Cubase 8.5, and Studio One 3.2, but had the same error in all of them. I loaded up Reaper today to look for an old project, and for whatever reason, the Lex reverbs had the font working correctly. I then checked the other three programs, and all the fonts for the Lex reverbs now load correctly. So, if you're having trouble, just load the plugs in Reaper and it seems to fix the font communication problem with the Lex reverbs.

I want to be clear, this isn't a Sonar error. Lexicon has acknowledged the problem, but hasn't given a timetable for a fix. When me and some other people started to make noise about it on Gearslutz, Lexicon removed the disclaimer from their front page that stated that their plugs were not supported under Windows 10. If there are other errors, I don't know. Everything seems to be working great right now. Still looking forward to a proper fix.

One of the oddest posts in a while, sort of begs the question "Why?" It is almost like it re-assigned a missing font with its closest system relative (like a browser would).

ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi AC), i7-8700k, 16GB RAM, GTX-1070Ti, Win 10 Pro, Saffire PRO 24 DSP, A-300 PRO, plus numerous gadgets and gizmos that make or manipulate sound in some way.

Give it a try and let me know how it goes. The strange thing is that when I was having the font problem, Cubase and Studio One were both hanging and/or crashing while loading/unloading the Lex plugs. After the font update, they work like normal. I assume it has something to do with communication with the ilok.

Never had an issue here. Was an early adopter of Windows 10 and now on Platinum 2016.03. All the PCM Verbs load fine and the same as Windows 8 did. No other DAWS on the machine except for ProTools Free.
