Problem saving midi controller information

Hi, I have been using cakewalk products for a long time! I have never came across this problem till now! I have a new Casio PX560 keyboard and when loading up a midi sequence to the keyboard from a USB stick. I can enter the controller information needed to do a drum kit on midi channel 10 and it all works fine playing track from Sonar to the Casio. I do a save as a midi file 1 to a USB stick and the controller data on channel 10 isn't there to do the correct program change for a drum kit for midi ch. 10. Anyone have an answer for this issue? I have been saving controller changes for years and never has this happened😟
