Very nice , great country sound to your song and your vocals fit in perfectly .
You should hop on the bus and head to Nashville where I live , keep on playing and singing I want to hear more !

    Take care , James

Half of the production is done in Nashville.  The guy is an up and comer.  My song though.  :D:D  Thanks for listening and the kind words J.S.  Maybe I'll meet you some day!

Thank you Daryl.  I try to write a new song every week, but I'm afraid I've fallen behind.

thx bassjoker.  The song is near and dear to my heart.  I also just wrote a stellar ballad that I'm going to have a lady singer in Nashville do.  It's about talking to a friend (who committed suicide) out of suicide, as if I had been able to do that.  Very au courant.

Nice! It has a Dylan and The Band feel to it that I dig very much. The mix sounds good on my laptop speakers which are known as the world's worst speakers, so take that with a grain of salt. I know it's a know it's a work in progress but it's a great start!

+1 to Kevin's comment - it's a great start.    Good solid country-rock feel and the vocals have the right delivery.   Question; is there going to be solo during that first section where the vocals drop out?

I'm not as sure about the middle section/breakdown... doesn't seem to quite fit the rest IMO.   That said, the modulations during those last choruses was a really nice touch.

Steve, thanks for listening.  Yes there's a second verse and lyrics for the Bridge.  I think what might be incongruous is the angels sound right before the bridge.  We'll probably nix that.

Let me chime in here and say that for a moment, I thought I was listening to Robby Robertson and Rick Danko.  The arrangement is really nice.  I hope to hear this when it's done.

    All the best,
