Bouncing selections of audio

As many years I have used Sonar products, I always worked primarily one song per project. Recently I recorded my band via an XR18 mixer/interface, imported the tracks into Sonar.

What I am trying to do is just bounce a selection of audio without splitting the clips. Perhaps split method at the selection time 1 to time 2 (split twice) is the easier method..

thx

I think you have answered your own question!?!?!?

To bounce/export a selection of audio you simply select the audio you want to export (both the tracks and the timeline) and SONAR will export just the highlighted selection

You also have to choose : "the whole mix instead
of "tracks" " or vise versa  in the bounce dialogue and
mono, stereo or splitted  : this depends on the format you like to have.

I have just purchased an XR18 as well.  Any guidance would be appreciated.  I have been able to record with it OK.  Would love to hear your results.  There seems to be a lack of true documentation especially about the many ways to do routing.  I have mine set up so that I do not have to switch anything to record/playback.  Not sure exactly how I did it!

Bounce follows the selection. You can even select individual events (like MIDI notes) and it will only include those in the bounce.
