Track color consistency

hi all,

working with Platinum i often find myself wondering why track
colors are not the same in various places.

i would expect that following colors must be exactly the same:
1. track color
2. track color in Console View
3. track color in Piano Roll track list
4. track clips background color (not content!)
5. color in color customize pallette

now if i set my, say, Track1 color to Yellow:
1. track color becomes not exactly yellow but similar to it
2. track color in console is same as 1
3. track color in Piano Roll track list is still standard grey
4. track clips have standard grey background and content is yellow
5. well, its yellow at mentioned above

so here we have situation when instead of one color in 5 places
we basically have 3 colors (grey in piano roll, yellow in clips content
and color pallette dialog, near-yellow in tracks and console) where
one of two correct colors is not at expected place (its clip content
instead of clip background).

on my opinion it is not comfortable to work with colors this way.
i have 40" UltraHD monitor so i have a lot of stuff appearing on the
screen. its quite important that everything looks consistent on the screen.
its not a good thing that track color is not used as clip background
automatically (and content color as inversed color). because when
you look at the screen where there is a lot of clips/tracks content colors doesn't
matter that much as long as there are very tiny lines of them visible.
assuming that clips background colors look like grey on grey it doesn't help
orienting in large project.

so basically i have couple of questions:
1. is there a way to make colors exactly the same? (meaning that after i selected
solor in track color pallete it just the same color in all five locations (or there may be
even more of then across the DAW)
2. is there a way to set up default behavior so track's clips background automatically
inherit track's color?
3. is it something to be editable in upcoming UI themes support?

The option to have the clip background color inherit the track's color has been requested:

I have asked for it a number of times.  Just provide the ability to select the foreground and background track colors and then each new recorded clip on that track will inherit that selection.  I believe that is how it worked in 8.5.3.

    Default track colors please.

Overall, I am very happy with the product - so I do not want to be seen as whining here.  But this would be great.
