Hey, this has an almost hypnotic effect to it and very groovin'.  You did a good job of mixing this and in particular, the warm sound -- which is hard to pull off when you're dealing with synths (that I know!).  I also like the provocative title.  !!

Can I ask what synths you are using?

The Mix is OK but the synth sounds a little stifled the lead notes all sound the same volume, it would be nice if you could introduce some changes in volume or filter to create a sense of movement there as well.

    Hello Wookiee
Thanks for the reply and tips.
I'm more the guitar and bass player ... I'm trying to learn to play keyboards.
Sure I need to learn use more dynamic on keyboard playing and setting the synth sounds.
On this tune I played mainly u-he Podolski VSTi with midi-keyboard.

Thanks for the feedback Makke, synth playing takes a bit of time to develop good technique I have been playing them for 26+ years and am still learning.

I found myself focusing in on your background elements! You have a couple of well-placed, fun, trippily delayed themes there! I liked the panning of the delays.

If this is video game material, then all is well. You'd might want to look at more dynamics (changes in volume) or maybe bring in another lead synth tone occasionally for variation.

    nice one!

sounds like you had fun Makke - the main theme is good but it would be nice to have some variation in the lead sound - it would add interest

For someone who is just starting out on this your number sounds very good.  I have been struggling in trying to capture the synth sound and I am coming to the conclusion that maybe I should postpone this effort.  The synth guys above have made some good suggestions.  With the start that you have made I am sure that you will master these suggestions very soon.

Makke, I'm not a good synth player myself, but I know that a good arrangement can help.  This arrangement is sparse, and a few added instruments (or doubling) can take this to another level.  I'm talking about highlighting certain sections with percussion or an extra pad or stab of synth.  As it is, it's pretty bare, now, but it's a good foundation to grow on.

    All the best,
    Lynn

+1 to the above comments - the lead synth is a bit static.   But the supporting tracks are nicely animated and have good width in the mix.   For someone starting out on keyboards I'd say you're going in the right direction.

Other have a better handle on this style but the bass sound sounded to predominate to me. I suspect there are some drums sounds but I'm not sure what and where they are.
