Selecting multiple take lanes.

Ok so this is driving me mad.
I have project with multiple take lanes.
I want to make a selection on parts (muting the non-selected path) this action works fine in other projects.

In this particular project, the selection is broken and it selects all the takes within the time selects and plays them all.

ARGHHH! what am I doing wrong?? Please help

Hi, and welcome to this forum. Maybe the lanes are grouped? Right click on a clip, and see if they are grouped. Hope it helps.
    All the best.

Hi Zargg71  thanks so much for this. This gets me out of a major fix!

I'm still a little confused between the difference between a group of clips (selected together) and a multi-track comped performance that I want control off.

Glad to be of help Have you seen the videos over at https://www.cakewalk.com/CakeTV/SONAR-University/Get-Started ? They go through quite a bit. And then you have Karl Rose's videos (Fast Bikerboy, a fellow SONARian) on YouTube that that goes through X2, but many things comply to the new versions as well.

That should give you something to start with
