Drumcore 4 the Saga Continues

I think it was 30 months ago they took pre-orders for a soon to be released product, hell there might have been another year in there I have lost count.

The latest.

Thanks for your patience for your pre-order of DrumCore 4 Lite. Mac Beta 6 is working great for about 200 people, and, if you have a Mac, we'd like to see what you think of it. Other than the built-in store, the general features of DrumCore 4 are working great in Beta 6. Windows beta is coming soon and we will need beta testers for that too.

Please apply here if you are interested in receiving a beta:

If you choose to wait, and not participate in the beta, that's fine. You'll receive the final release as soon as it is released.

Thanks for your patience and your consideration.

I just thought about this today and went to the forums to check the status.  What an embarrassment!

You can see it in the recent Spring Sweetwater catalog, page 513. Also a full page add on 512. I don't own it but I feel sorry for the people who are still waiting. An unbelievable debacle.

    It's Bass, not Bass.

The text I quoted in the first post was from an email I received.

Even if it came out today it's no XLN, EZD, BFD, or SD2.  Why bother?

I have BFD3, and love it, but I still love my Kitcore a lot too. If they ever get their heads out of their butts, I will update Kitcore just to be able to run it as 64 bit, so that I don't have to use jbridge.

I am just waiting for the"lite" version as a player for Kitcore. It fills some gaps left by Toontrack/FXpansion. I like the Luis Conte Latin percussion better than most of my other options.

There are some great MIDI patterns too. Love the stuff by Alan White.

That's what I was waiting for, too. I mainly use a custom Matt Cameron/Stephen Perkins preset that I made up a while back.
