Bjork Cover Song Competition
I just found out about this yesterday at
Ultimate-Guitar
.
There is a
Bjork Cover Song Competition
and it concludes January 17, 2005. It is a very simple song that is open to a lot of different and more interesting approaches than the original. I described what I think the structure is in the UG link.

In case anyone is interested, I posted my MP3 of this song at My Site. I heard it for the first time Wednesday - and yes I will probably redo the vocals with another attempt.
I am happy with the mic setup over what I used previously. I am using a condenser mic, a tube preamp and the software mixer that came free with my E-Mu 0404 for reverb and compression and other effects; just have to practice singing more.
What I did was import the MP3 of the Bjork song
Army Of Me
into my Guitar Track Pro 3 and that completely simplified setting up the drum loops and taking notes on how many measures there were in each verse, chorus, etc. I deleted it when the original MP3 was all set up of course. I will email the Bjork website my version after I take one more crack at the vocals.

Cool! That's probably my favorite Bjork song. The video is pretty bizarre. It would be hard for me to imagine improving on her version.
