Annoying jean zip that keeps falling down

I've been wearing these jeans with an annoying zip that keeps falling down of its own volition. It got to the point where I'm constantly "checking myself" and well you know that kinda looks bad in itself. And then I'll be standing on the subway in front of someone sitting down and realize that my gaping maw of a fly opening is right opposite their face. Had enough. So applied the following hack and it's working great:

I'd say "Yankee ingenuity" but I also know you're not a real Yankee.

If it were me, I'd put the ring "inside" the flap.

Yeah but that's a whole extra step.

Yeah but I don't scare women and children if I don't use Mixbus.

I didn't realize that was annoying... I thought it was to let the breeze in. I never knew.

I'm into zip breezes as much as the next guy....but picture the scene....you're walking through Central Park and see a mom with her 3 small children approaching you on the path. Uh oh, you think, I think my zipper is undone. So you instinctively reach down and fumble with it.

Not a good look.

Or worse, you're walking through Central Park and see four gang members approaching you on the path and you start fumbling with your zipper...

If I look at that long enough ... it has a certain abstract appeal ...
