How to make custom Icons for New Templates?

    Try this
    1. Using MS Paint or any drawing tool create an image around 100x100 pixels or less and save the image as a png in the project template folder with the name of the template. For example, if the template is SomeTemplate.cwt save the image as SomeTemplate.cwt.png.
    2. Open the template in SONAR and re-save it as SomeTemplate.cwt
     
    This should save the template with the image embedded in the cwt file and the template should appear using the image in the start screen. Once the template is saved, the image file may be deleted.

    I liked your idea and it works!
    From my tests, the project icons are 172 x 172px. (1920 x1080 monitor setting)

    That's a great trick.
     
    Maybe a better approach, more integrated, would be to have that PNG as a field added to the Project 'Info' file (from the Project menu).

    Has SONAR Platinum integrated Icons, or is this still the way to create Project Icons?
