Cakewalk Artist and Drumagog 5

I was going to ask this question in the Drumagog forums, but for some reason after registering it's telling me my account isn't activated and that I should contact an administrator (and of course, there appears no way to do that). So, I thought I'd run it by you guys here.
 
I'm currently running SONAR Cakewalk Artist, and just installed the demo version of Drumagog 5. The install of Drumagog5Demo64Bit.exe seemed to work fine, including the PACE Anti-Piracy drivers. But, when I open a project file, Cakewalk starts its VST plugin status as usual, then just runs forever:

Sorry, but I couldn't find any information on this symptom anywhere . Anybody run into this before?

    I never did the demo and I am on Platinum but Drumagog5 runs fine on my system.
     
    I wish there was more I could offer, but I just wanted to indicate that it might be your setup somehow.
