Sonar Upgraded - Now Input Monitoring Latency Delay

i was running Sonar Platinum perfectly yesterday.

then i upgraded to the 22.5.0.43 version.

i was then losing audio input anytime i started editing other tracks.

now i have the dreaded input echo delay.

i've worked successfully with this setup since i got Platinum over a month ago.
Scarlett 18i8.

it happens when i start adding the SAME VSTs i've been using for weeks!

i have ZERO problems with another DAW.
none.
with the other DAW, i intentionally overload 8 channels with Two Notes Wall of Sound and Waves CL plugins.
rock solid.

Sonar spittles after one CL comp.

i really like Sonar... and i'm sure there is something obvious i am overlooking.

anyone?

well what is that 1 plug in ?
im using the Focusrite 1818 just like you are and cant say im having the same issue.
if you want the best help one can give. you should really fill out your signature.
i have no idea what your using or set up is except an 1818

and is there any reason your running at 1.0 MS ?
that puts a lot of stress on your system

i typically do DAW Tracking at 5.0-7.0

    mixing i go even higher

i've tried filling out my sig several times. never would stick.

1.0ms was never a problem for Sonar before or with the other DAW.

this is a great group, i'm sure some solution will come through eventually.

for the time being though, have to use the other DAW. not a bad thing to know more than one.
