I don't mind software companies tracking software usage. What bothers me is that, e.g. many people including myself are not expert users of this fine masterpiece of software and we do not use some advanced functions. I don't want to see these functions gone simply because majority of users don't really know how to take advantage of them.

The plus side of this, though, is that it implies they might actually want to develop GR further.  Why bother setting up tracking if you aren't going to develop further?

For the price of invasion (understand the motive to improve the program...)
