How do I upload an image to my post?

It says I can select from Gallery/Upoad. But that box is empty. How do I put an image in a post please?

SONAR Platinum 1607, Windows 10 Pro, i7 6700K 16GB Ram 3.4Ghz
256GB SSD C: Drive, 525GB SSD VI's, 2TB Audio Drive
  
Interface: UA Apollo Firewire, UAD2 Quad PCIe
Mackie Control, C4 and two extenders.

    Direct image uploads to the forum are not allowed. Upload the image to a host such as imgur.com and add the link bounded by [img][/img] tags to your post.

    I am confused:posts from Craigb etc and the following do not appear to have been hosted and linked.

    Probably the [img][/img] tags
    Open the image in the message and it will take you to http://i.imgur.com/b7F5u7f.jpg
    Copy this URL, click the insert image in the message editor and add the URL here is the result

    You just have to have the picture somewhere ... I usually upload them to my website and link from there.

    Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

    FYI - I have my own websites and domains, therefore I can host my own images.
