Sonar platinum fails to un-solo and produce sound from rewire device.

Hi,
When I solo and then un-solo a track in Sonar, many times the rewire slave remains muted even though one can see the rewire slave's buses sending out signals. It was driving me nuts but I finally figured out that it might be the soloing of track/s in Sonar.
So I hit the global solo button on off in sonar on the top menu bar instead of just in the track pane, I then went into my rewire slave and hit solo on/off there too and the rewire slave started producing sound.

Not one person from cakewalk sonar replying?
This forum and tech support are totally unreliable for me, can any one direct me where I can actually get a real person to help me? I've sent in crash reports no reply, I've emailed tech support no reply.
    What gives?

This is a user forum. While Cakewalk staff do occasionally post, the forum is not tech support. Support has been reorganizing recently http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3428520

I've been to that link you posted above and filed bug reports there as well and still no response from the staff at cakewalk. That they don't have a forum where you can directly interact with tech and support is just mind boggling in these modern times, it tells me this is a company who really can't afford to nor do they want to evidently support their own product.
    Thanks for your help,

Most of the forums I've been on are like that. Must be the "industry Standard" now. (?)

There is a number you can call. I called it once years ago and they were helpful.

    rewire slave ableton lite

From the second paragraph, it sounds like have a workaround or maybe even a solution. Don't know what the limitations of Ableton "lite" is but that might be a factory, and also, a reason for the lack of response from CW> They may not have the lite version installed.

Also you didn't indicate whether you have the most recent Platinum update, there was a "smart solo" function added it would be helpful to know if your version pre-dates that.
