Z3TA+ 2.2.2 not finding Resources folder

Hi, I'm using Sonar 8.5 and installed the Z3TA+ 2 latest update (Feb '16).  I was using it fine until I moved it's VST files to my D: drive where all of my other instruments (all working fine) and Cakewalk Content are.  When Sonar searches for VST plugins, it finds the Z3TA+ 2 DLL but complains about missing bitmap resources.  The resources are located in D:\Music\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\Z3TA+ 2\Resources.  Sonar fails to find them even if I add the full path to the configuration.  It says "Bitmap resource not found: D:\Music\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\Z3TA+ 2\Resources\<filename>.bmp" and wants me to verify the location of the 'Resources' folder.
What's up with that?
I'm using Producer 8.5.2.222 64bit on Windows 10.  Z3TA+ 2 is also 64bit.

TIA for any clues,
Art of Code

I check the default installation. The Resources folder is not installed in the same path with the dll.
If I were guessing, the plug-in looks in the path specified in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\z3ta+\2.0\AppData for the Resources folder.

Thanks @scook, I updated the Registry, which was using the default paths on C:, but Z3TA didn't care.  So then I reinstalled Z3TA and checked that the standalone app ran with the default locations.  Then I tried adding the default Z3TA VST folder (I tried both C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins AND C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\Z3TA+ 2) to Sonar and had it search for plug-ins.  It read the directories on C: and didn't complain about missing bitmap files like it did before.
But it also didn't list Z3TA+ 2 in the Plug-in Manager list or in the Soft-Synth list for inserting instruments.  It does still list Z3TA+ 1, however.  'Tis a shame since I really like Z3TA+ 2.  I tried this with both 64 and 32bit versions.

It has been years since I have seen a copy of 8.5. The scanner may have marked the plug-ins bad when initially scanned.

Is there an option to re-scan failed plug-ins? It may be in the dialog where the scan path is set. If so.
    enable the option,
    run a scan,
    turn the option off.

    The brute force method is
move the plug-in folder out of the scan path,
    scan plug-ins,
move the folder back into the scan path,
    scan again.

Yeah, I'm due for an upgrade.  There is a re-scan option available, but it doesn't find it.  it does find Z3Ta+ v1 in the D:vst folder along with all the other plugins.
I'll try another pure-default install of Z3TA+ 2 and see if it likes that.  Cakewalk needs to realize there are lot of people like me who have an SSD C: drive with limited space, and need to put stuff on their more roomy D: hard drives.
