Nice tune and a good idea for a song. Good keyboard accompaniment and the vocal is very strong. I thought the drums were too much the same throughout and the lyrics didn't seem to be heading to any kind of conclusion, though that could tie in with the never ending chores theme. Thanks for posting.

Very cool sound and arrangement. Maybe it could use a little variation, like a guitar solo ? Just a thought

love the tune. the singing is great as is the mix. i'd like the bass to have more bite and presence. drums need a bit of work, change up those patterns a bit, 30m work makes a massive difference to the listen.

Hey thank you for the listen and comments. Yes I am lazy when it comes to drums. I think my mind has imprinted on some Steely Dan stuff like Hey Nineteen with a similar style. Very good point about 30 minutes on drums…point well taken. Thank you!

Nice song Don, well presented, mix sounds just fine. For me, the chorus never really takes off so the song stays at one level. Vocals are very good, piano too.

Vocals sound great here, and I liked the lyrics - catchy chorus! I also thought the chord progression + melody during the entire chorus was really cool, I get a bit of Steely Dan there too. I think arrangement-wise it just needs some "sprucing up" so that the chorus energy rises a bit.

Hey JamesG and SteveC. Thank you for the listen. All I can find at the moment of this is the two track...I'd have to go digging for the Cakewalk project, but I sure hope to sometime. I've just uploaded a new tweak to the two track, just a subtle change, but I like it better. Thank you for the listen and comments.
