Holt's Jupiter...Bringer of Jollity

As an exercise I imputed this "Jupiter" section into Sibelius, exported a midi file into Sonar and mixed it there.  I used Cinematic Strings 2.0, CineBrass,  and the woodwinds are Albion .  I kinda got lazy on the woodwinds as I  loaded 4 patches into a Kontact instance (WWinds Hi, Low Shorts and Longs and assigned all the winds to midi channel 1. So not the variation on articulations like the strings and brass.

Wouldn't be cool to be able to input scores directly into Sonar... we need a notation plugin update.

I did add in the crowd for fun....

So fun!  Believe it or not, that is one of the first you tube video's I've actually enjoyed sitting through from beginning to end.  I loved the way you presented it. :D

Very nicely done all round. Reminded me that Manfred Mann stole a bit of that for 'Joybringer'.

Sounds really good!    And I liked your video treatment just as much - very creative and on-point.

like the vid. obv music is superb cos Holst could score a bit -I love his choral works like the ChoralSymphony and Cloud Messenger. Your mix is very good, perhaps the strings get lost a bit but the brass is superb!
