Chancing Velocity of selected notes.

Hello all,

Suppose I have a MIDI file and I open the PRV of the drumtrack, track 10.
On the piano on the left screenside I select all B2 notes (bassdrum).
(Or other notes in other tracks.)

Is it possible to change the velocity of all the selected notes at once?

I have Music Creator 5 for now.

If it is not possible in MC 5, can MC 7, or the more expensive Sonar programs do this?

Does someone knows if there is a MIDI editor that can do this?

Thank you in advance,

Salleke.

You can. Select the notes, open the Controller Pane and drag any of the selected notes's velocities down using the Draw tool. All of the velocities should change.

    Hello Greg,

Thank you for you're help but to be honest I don't understand
    what to do.

Can you please tell me in a few steps how to do the thing you are writing?

Sorry to ask of you're time but I can only use MC 5 for simple/basic edits.

Or is there a tutorial or manual where I can see what to do?

    Thanks again,

    Salleke.

I don't have any version of MC on this computer, but in SONAR Home Studio 6, there is an icon above the Piano Roll for 'Show Controller Pane'.
There are extensive Help files which are searchable. With MC open, press the F1 button on your computer keyboard. That should open the Help file. Search "Controller Pane" and see what happens.
