https://soundcloud.com/a-pleasure-dome http://www.bnoir-film.com/ there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. 24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

One of your better reviews (all good, some just better than others ). A couple of comments re your negative comments on their patch naming... I have a lot of VIs, and I don't think one of them has clear, descriptive patch names - too many patches, too little screen real estate for long (256 character, e.g.) names. Half of my brain is engineering and half is music. Combine those two old step-children...and I actually LIKE their naming convention. What I would want to see instead of long descriptive names (that I'd have to horizontally scroll through) that I wouldn't remember in any case, would be a flexible Favorite'ing system that supports nesting (folders) that I can name as I wish. The ability to add searchable Tags would also be very useful. Edit: I have to start paying for Medicare and Medigap on the 1st of August. And how I've gotta come up with $200 for this VI? Thanks for nothing. Edit: Very cool. The have an untimed demo with a limited number of sounds from the 5 GB library available for free!

Thanks for reading! And yes I should have mentioned the demo :-) I'm gonna actually go back in and add that now. Oh and btw there is the ability to do favorites at least (you can save any presets to the User Presets folder, although as far as I can tell, no sub-folders and definitely no tags), so that's a start at least. I still like at least having a few words... It's easier for me to remember to go back and find "Emotional Struggle String" rather than "String 003" haha. Even though who knows exactly what "Emotional Struggle String" is going to sound like, at least it's a rough idea.

This would be useful for all types of VSTi's.

My biggest complaint about Lethal so far is I've only found about half of it to be useful. Things like the leads and guitars are just terrible and not at all polished. They honestly sound like factory patches I get with Serum with very minimal processing. Not what I expect from a rompler. The other thing is that they mentioned early on that we'd have two expansions within two weeks of it being released. a month and a half later, they gave us one. This is not a good start for them, IMO.

I like the guitar sounds, but they're certainly not realistic by any means. They sound totally like synth guitars. But like I said in my review, I found that most of the sounds are very usable, and it technically is the factory library for now. Hopefully the expansions bring some variety. And as for the expansions, yes it did take a while for that first one to launch, but hopefully they'll be more on schedule now with one a month like they promised.
