How do you create a drum loop using midi style drums ?

Im using Sonar producer 8.5.3 ...I record my drum tracks with an outside application of addictive drums and I use a roland octopad to trigger the sounds ..Sounds fantastic . ...I used to know how to do it but I forgot ....How do you play a few measures and make it repeat or make a so called loop out of it once you record some of it  ?    in other words for example . I want to play 2 measures and have it repeat for 10 measures ,,,??   and please where do you look under in the help section to do this ?

Hi. I do / did not have 8.5, but i think Ctrl + L makes the selection a groove clip / "loopable". Hope it helps.
    All the best.

    as above..

ensure your clip is 2 measures, press ctl L and the clip should then have cut corners rather than square..this indicates it is a groove clip.
Then, pick the right hand side with the mouse and stretch it out.. it will create additional groove clip s you slide to the right..

.....or Right click on the midi clip and select Groove-Clip Looping (for those of us that are lazy to use the keyboard).
