The MIDI Reverb and Chorus settings in prochannel do not retain their levels

The MIDI Reverb and Chorus settings in Pro channel do not retain their levels when file is saved as JUST a MIDI file however, the settings are recalled when saved as a project file even though are  NO audio tracks.  When I open this same MIDI file using SONAR X3 the Pro channel Reverb and Chorus dials display what ever the last setting were foe the selected track.

When using SONAR Platinum when opening the same MIDI file, I expected to see the Reverb and Chorus setting displayed on the Rev and Chr dials in the Pro Channel Pane as it did in SONAR X3 not as continuous controller track events in the view events screen.  Also, I should be able to pull down the Normal menu "below the Patch browser" tab in the Pro Channel Pane as in SONAR X3

The Reverb and Chorus dials in the Pro Channel pane displayed zeros instead of what the last settings were that were displayed in SONAR X3.  Also, I can NOT pull down and of the options of the tab " defaulted to Normal" under the Patch Browser button. THERFORE, I have to use SONAR X3 to edit my MIDI file tracks Reverb and Chorus settings dynamically because SONAR PLATINUM DOES NOT!!!

Haven't checked it, yet, but it sounds like a bug for which you should enter a Problem Report.

One minor point on terminology for the benefit of others reading this thread:
The pane in which the MIDI Chorus and Reverb controls appear is just the Track Inspector with no tab selected. Prochannel is a tab in the Track Inspector, and doesn't have anything to do with this issue.

EDIT, I verified X3 converted back and forth between the knobs in the Track Inspector and controller events in the file, while Platinum no longer does that.

Incidentally, the Ref. Guide for both versions says only:

"When loading a GM file, each track’s bank, patch, volume and pan parameters are lifted from the data stream and placed in SONAR’s Track view for you to see and edit on-screen."

I didn't find any reference to Chorus and Reverb events getting transferred to their respective track controls or vice versa, but that certainly would be expected.
