New Update - How Do I Roll Back.

Hello all,

The new update did not treat me well.

The project I've been on for the past month opens everything looks functional, however, the CPU meters never read any usage and as soon as I hit the the PLAY transport Sonar crashes.  I tested another project and it opened and played.  That tells me there is something - a plug in perhaps, that the new update is not happy with.

Unfortunately, I do not have time to suss this out at the moment - How do I roll back to the previous version? Once I finish the project I can try to figure out what is incompatible within the project.

Thanks for any assistance !

Try opening the project in safe mode. hold down CNTRL (possibly SHIFT) but I think its control.
while opening the project.

if not and you insist on rolling back, open CCC and right click on Sonar (where the green/yellow light is)
you will get a drop down menu with update choices from previous updates.

Seems very odd that you would get a crash with the update,, Everybody would be having this issue? How long has it been since you updated?

Not really, because not everyone has the same "everything else other than SONAR." Crashes usually don't come from a program, they come from interactions between programs. The OP is right that it could take a little troubleshooting to find out the source of the issue, so if he wants to get back to music immediately, rolling back makes sense.

I also have noticed some 'glitches' where I've never had any problems. What's up? This may be the first time I have to do this. Nothing has changed system, software, parts, etc. There appears to be a problem when pressing a button on the keyboard and trying to move mouse. Becomes jittery, slow moving. When I release button back to normal. Must have something to do with new feature. Even once got the dreaded sonar has encountered a problem and needs to shut down. Collecting data. Gone. Hmmmm! Don't know quite where this info goes.
