Multicore processing?

Sometimes I pitch shift (transpose) multiple tracks, but it seems to take ages.  CPU is at 13%, so its only using one core of my system.

Any way we can get this to run in parallel, seems like a simple optimization?

Hi. Which OS do you use? You could try turning off core parking?
    All the best.

Windows 10, so I'm not sure this is applicable... I'll look into it a bit more as the thread is long.

The setting in preferences - audio-configuration file - I had heard somewhere that this should be set to "2" for multi-core systems, is this correct?, as well as regedit changes suggested?

    Hi all,
I seem to get more even bars when I bump it up to 4, the number of cores I have. I even tried bumping to eight which are the threads. Can't remember if that was better. our that didn't work much. Just my cent and a half.
