Here is a recent tweet by Greg Spawton (Big Big Train) on their spotify demographics.

Some interesting (but not surprising) demographic data on our most recent two months on Spotify. It's prog, innit.

For those who dont want to look on twitter and see the full graph basically 70,000 "listens" in the 45 to 59 age group is just under half the total.
 
I reckon there may have been 150,000 listens in the two month period so Greg may just about be able to afford a swift half of best bitter and share it round the band.

I suspect the graph is flattened by the fact (I assume) older age groups are less likely to use Spotify.

My 18 year old grandson was amazed that a track on the Ghost Community album I was playing when I gave him a lift was over 7 minuets long, and totally in incredulous when I said some tracks were a lot longer than that.
