Problem with Melodyne

I restarted my PC, to find that my Windows had updated automatically (I think, I already had Windows 10 installed). All of my shortcuts on the desktop were gone, background changed, etc. Anyways, Most of my plugins were also missing from Sonar Platinum. I think I've found and added all of them, except for Melodyne. It's not showing up when I click on a clip and then click on region fx. I had previously upgraded my Melodyne to assistant, so I don't know if that's causing a problem. I think I've found melodyne, in a folder with a phantom link to it, but I can't get Sonar to find it. What folder does it need to be in?

I would be concerned about this ""my shortcuts on the desktop were gone,""
this does not sound normal. have you tried a PC reboot yet ?

I cant stress the importance of shutting down then restarting once in a while.
it clears the random memory that may / may not be holding corrupt data in it.
