SPLAT not saving in folders

Hey guys,

All of a sudden SPLAT has stopped saving my projects in folders.  When I look on my "Cakewalk Projects" folder I can see the black project icon and another icon called "assets" but they are not saved in a common folder under the project name.  I know there has to be a simple fix. Thoughts?

Thanks!

I believe with the ability to create a new project without naming it that SONAR defaults to the global audio folder, since you haven't created a project folder. To get (a copy of) them out, a "Save As..." and creating the project folder/name will then begin to populate there. I am not sure if this is what you are seeing based on the OP, but seems this may be it.

ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi AC), i7-8700k, 16GB RAM, GTX-1070Ti, Win 10 Pro, Saffire PRO 24 DSP, A-300 PRO, plus numerous gadgets and gizmos that make or manipulate sound in some way.

Mettelus is right on correct.

when you go to save your next project, click the per project box in the "Save as" menu.
you can always resave those projects that don't have folders.
just click "Save as" and again, click the per project folders box.
Sonar will resave the project in a new folder. you can then delete the old folders.
but before deleting anything, make sure your not deleting active projects. only the copys
you don't need anymore. (make a back up folder if necessary.)
