Little Things

Here is my latest song.  It switches between 3/4 and 4/4 and also goes from a World Music feel to a hard rock feel.

Hey, this is a terrific demo for your song -- everything fits well in the mix and the balance between the vocals and music is just right.  This really picks up when you get to the chorus -- catchy.  This song reminds me of a hybrid of some prog and 80s new wave.  One thing tho -- I thought the intro was a little too long -- I like to get right to the song.  !!

Thanks ABull.  I tend to do long intros.  I'm into bands like Pink Floyd.  lol.  However, on the actual album, the way this comes out of the previous song and into this song...the intro makes more sense.

This is interesting. I'm not sure I like the vox during the verses but it works well during the heavier parts.

I like it and the mix is nice.

    Well done!!!

i love how you do this; you have a nasal voice but how you mix in the synth/guitar to compliment your voice is almost like having BV and works to fill out your vocals.
the different vocal verb/delay treatments and panning is very effective.
the mix sounds nice and spacious although there is a lot going on. the heavy guitars I might scoop a little more in the mids and also maybe a slightly more modern sounding drumkit would be beneficial.
but a great non-conventional song with terrific sound

Thanks mgh.  I wish I didn't have such a nasal voice, but it's the voice I was given.  Thanks for the complements though. I really appreciate.
