Soft Synth Track Doesn't Play from MIDI Controller

Just upgraded to Platinum.

Unable to play VSTs via MIDI keyboard.  Control surfaces move screen counterpoarts so MIDI data is being communicated.  Opening the VST interfaces allows hem to be played with the mouse so there doesn't appear to be an audio issue.

Has anyone seen this problem?

Thanks.

If the control surface is part of the keyboard, and spinning controls makes the MIDI track's meter move but playing keys doesn't, then it could be that Notes is disabled under preferences > MIDI > playback and recording.
