Different auto-save folder?

I like to have at least 4 versions of auto-save for each project (plus the proper auto-save file).
But the versions are always in the same folder of the project, creating some clutter.
I wonder if I can define a sub-folder, for example "backup" just below the project folder (as is done today with "audio" folder)?
Thus, any additional backup files ( "Auto-Save Copy of*.cwp" and al  the version files) would be in a separate folder.

create a separate folder in the project folder, then just do a "Save As".

I'm not referring to the manual save, but the auto-save.
