Timeline scroling in Sonar X1

Hello everyone,
is it possible for the timeline to scroll smoothly when playing in Sonar X1?
With my current settings, the white line scrolls from left to right, then the audio wave in the timeline changes abruptly. Is there any way to change that so that the audio wave keeps appearing?

Thanks in advance :)

In Platinum, pressing the "Pause" key on your computer keyboard alternates between smooth scrolling during playback and staggered scrolling (to save the CPU from doing more frequent graphic updates)

I am pretty sure this also is applicable to X1

Windows 10 64bit fully patched, 16 gig ram .
PCR-800 Controller.  (Working in Win 10 1809 64bit)
CPU: i5 4670.
Video: Nvidia GTX560ti (latest drivers).
Audio IF: Focusrite 2i2 2nd Gen

Internet always on.

That's not what I meant, sorry if I didn't explain myself well.

I was asking if there's any way to make the timeline scroll right-to-left, instead of the cursor scroll left-to-right.

SONAR does not support playback with a fixed play head position. There is a feature request for it here http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3153217
