Sort VST Instruments? (Sonar X3)

Hi

I have many VST Instruments. They are all in Different Folders, most of them in an vstplugins Folder, but other in their Own Folder or on the System-Harddisk.

When I  want to add a new Instrument I do that with an Sidebar (comes up with the "B" key). Then choose from "Add new VST Instrument" (or something like this, I don't mind  :D )

So a Dropdown-List comes up and shows some Intstruments. Then I have some Folders there like "VST Instruments", "VST Instruments 64Bit", "DirectX" or the Name of the developer.
It is very often, that I search a long time for the VST Instrument I want, when I didn't know in wich Folger It is.

So, I just want to know, if it's possible to Rearrange that VST List? So that I can maybe create new Folder (in the Instrument-List of Sonar) like "Synthesizer", "Sampler", "Drums" and all that sorts and then move the VSTi in it??

Thanks

Hi, Which version of SONAR do you have? Does this video help?
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TPEiS4HOZc
I use Plugin Manager to sort my plugins.
    All the best.

like Ken said plug in manager is the best way to organize and sort.
but if your looking for a menu type option, try clicking: Insert/Vstplug ins/Synths.

this is the way I choose to insert plug ins

Yesterday I found the time to list all my Instruments and sort it with the Plugin Manager. That was very helpful.
