[Solved] Is there a Global Tempo change tool?

I remember years ago, sonar had a set of buttons that allowed you to instantly change the tempos to half speed or more, that was really handy when working on a piece that had really difficult high speed lines that you needed to lay down. You'd just hit half speed, lay it down, then put it back to normal tempo speed and hear an amazing line that you might not have been able to do at full speed. This is using MIDI by the way. Did that feature get nuked? Or is it hidden somewhere?

It's still there, you just have to look for it. If you right-click on the custom module and select "commands," you'll find the tempo ratio commands. I keep these in the custom module and also have them programmed into the function keys of my X-Touch.

Thanks for pointing that out! However once I put it into the custom menu. Clicking on it does nothing. I can't figure out how to configure it. Any suggestions?

As has always been the case, the tempo ratios will not change if there are any audio tracks in the project. If the project is pure MIDI, go to preferences:project:clock and select "internal" as the source. The default seems to be "audio" which defeats scaling the tempo. Once you've selected the internal clock, the tempo ratios should work.
