Sharing files from sonar producer to x3

I recorded for a few hours on Tuesday. I was doing loop recording. The wave files are not distinct to loop... kinda cool but makes sharing hard.

It seems the most fool proof way for me to get this to the Sonar X3 studio that needs the files is to drag each lane to the desktop and send the wave files.

Is there consensus that this is the best way? How would Craig Anderton do it?

Answering that my buddy should upgrade will earn you a frown.

I also recorded the midi from the keyboard. The very confused way that the midi goes into the lanes makes this data just next to useless outside this one project. The first notes of any take may or may not be appended to the previous take.

StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen.
I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

    Oh MAN!

If Every I should have waited until I tried it!!

When I drag out the tracks that were recorded with GROUPING on... it copies all the tracks in the group out along with related Midi Files.

    How awesome is that??

The only issue... the midi doesn't import at the correct bar. Is there a way to import the midi at the proper bar?

If you have MIDI save it as a SMF (Standard MIDI File). If you also have audio the drag and drop will work. What is wrong with saving the project as a cwp file? All Sonar versions can read those files.
