Hey man this is a fabulous performance, great music and composition. Drums sounded good too. Very interesting piece and fun to listen to. I wouldn't change a thing, instrumentally. Vocals are not really hooking on this one. Seems like they could use a little more melody here or there, something...but seriously awesome performance.

sounded quite "trebley" on my old Sony ear buds. They are normally quite "bassy" Changed to my KRK KNS-8400's and sounded much better... Perhaps I need to chuck my old ear buds... Nice piece Rob. I enjoyed that cheers andy

Super great job Rob! All parts are perfect. IMO, drums could be a bit busier! Too much upper mids overall. Sibilance is jumping out too much. Bottom is good. It is very pointed in the 3-5K range. You could back off at least -2db. It can bite. Maybe it's the translation to SoundCloud but I know your stuff pretty well. There is an edge to most of it but this once seems even more so. Maybe check it out when you master?

Oh yeah, another batty good song! Everything sounds great as per usual, and I loved the guitar tones and playing. That transition into the last section was really cool, as was the short shuffle groove that followed. Oh, and the bass line really tied things together well.

yep, I'm going back to listen on headphones, which sounds like that's where the action is . . . Vocals are good indeed, maybe make them louder in the mix? I seem to remember commenting that way before but perhaps that's not your preference? The singing is really quite good. I'm a big Rush fan and this is right in there . . . cool stuff with nice prog ideas everywhere! -Tom

Vocals are not really hooking on this one. Seems like they could use a little more melody here or there, something...but seriously awesome performance. hi Voda, thanks a lot man, for listening and commenting... for me, writing the batsbrew material is NOT about writing hooks, and melodies you can hum.. it's about exploring a bit more, and it's a bit more progressive than anything else, so the melodies are there, in spades, they just don't typically repeat, and that's by design. humanrock Powerful! Excellent guitar handling! Well done! Should be on radios...
heh, thanks human, not sure WHICH radios, but it's a nice thought (i'm on spotify, isn't that the new radio?) synkrotron sounded quite "trebley" on my old Sony ear buds. They are normally quite "bassy" Changed to my KRK KNS-8400's and sounded much better... Perhaps I need to chuck my old ear buds... Nice piece Rob. I enjoyed that cheers andy
hey andy, hope you don't have to chuck the old buds.....but maybe it's best?! LOL IF they sound trebly in the buds, but your favorite pro release doesn't, it may still mean the mastering is off.... i had this one professionally done, which is not to say that if i had done it myself, it may have been better, OR worse. MarkusClinus gonzo, as much as I love your playing - I'm beginning to think my favorite part of your music is your vocals - man I love your voice - such raw emotions with sweet control - just ****ing beautiful man.

rimshot, ha, most say they are too busy now! but, yea, i like busy drums, if they serve the song. wonder which tracks are building up at 3-5k? haven't had many comments about that at all... this is the final mastered version that is on the new album.

LOL Beagle awesome bat stuff! love that break with the crunchy lead - nice work! no crits on this, just great stuff!
thanks beagle! crunchy lead, yes, it was a bit crunchy on the gain side.... that's probably the barber direct drive super sport hitting the front of the boogie hard... emeraldsoul yep, I'm going back to listen on headphones, which sounds like that's where the action is . . . i appreciate that bapu BobF Excellent all the way 'round.
hey bob, thanks for listening philz Not my favorite of yours, but well done as always.
that's cool philz, i'm glad you checked it out and commented anyway... just out of curiousity, which tune WOULD be your favorite brew song?
