windows 10 doesn't see dvd drive

I just built a computer with almost the same specs as the one in my profile.  I installed Windows 10 from a disc in the dvd drive.
(LG Mdisc)  worked fine.  The problem now is that although the dvd drive is recognized in bios, Windows doesn't see it.   I was able to see it in device manager by clicking view hidden devices.  I have seen a few fixes online.  One involves going into the registry.
BTW my drives are sata 0 SSD Samsung, Sata 1 WD black, Sata 2 dvd drive

solved.   I installed the latest chipset drivers from ASRock.  That took care of the problem
