Latest email?

I have no real issues at this time I'm just not sure I would be advertising this....maybe enhancement not fixes.
Nearly 1,000 fixes since SONAR X3 -- and growing!
As of our most recent update, we realized we were nearing a major milestone -- nearly 1,000 fixes have been added to SONAR since SONAR X3! We're excited to hit 1,000 fixes, and as the list of fixes grows, that means we'll have even more time to work on new features and workflow enhancements.

To quote myself from a similar thread: To be fair, I can see why they're proud of that milestone. SONAR had, shall we say, "fallen into disrepair" prior to Cakewalk's acquisition by Gibson. There are many people now working at Cakewalk who have been cleaning up messes not of their own making, and are taking fixes seriously. You can always make a case that the software should not have reached a state where it had all those problems, but it did...so I'm glad the current team has taken responsibility for "tightening down the screws."

The email presumably only goes to Sonar users, and is not going to be coming to a billboard on a freeway near you anytime soon. For that subset of interested customers, it sounds like a winning slogan. I finally got on board with lifetime updates when I realized that it was time to stop waiting for a break though new feature in MIDI, when what I mostly have been upgrading for all these years is a smoother ride on a basically usable application.
