Midi Track Background and Foreground Colors

Is it possible to set a midi track  that the setting don t keeping reverting  back to default. I changed the foreground and background and then you have to drag on the track to get the color to change. If  I open sequencer  I lose all these colors.
Is this a bug or by design?
