Sonar Platinum - Viewing Plug Ins from FX Rack
I just updated to Platinum, and my first impressions are very good. I have a question, though, and I can't seem to find the option. Hoping someone can help. When I have several plugins on a given track, I frequently like to open them all at once and put them on my second monitor so I can keep track of how they're all interacting. With Platinum, when you click a different plugin from the FX Rack on a track, it swaps it out with the one already open only giving you access to one at a time. I see how that is slick in its way, and could be a great option for some people's workflow, but is there a way to get several plugins from the same track all open at once? Thanks, Seth

There are a couple of options. First thing that springs to mind is you can "pin" an open gui by clicking the pin icon as indicated at the top right:

The way to make this permanent is to go into Preferences > File > VST Settings > General and untick Recycle Plug-in windows

Thank you! I love the pinned thing, lets you use it either way works best at the moment.

Just in case you aren't aware of the 'Help Module' introduced early this year, if you hover the mouse over the effect in the FX Rack, the module shows helpful information about the feature. If the Help Module is currently not visible, hit the Y key. Until recently, the explanations for the Open Plug-in UI were actually not as detailed as above. The question you asked came up a few times in this forum even after the module was introduced, so I think the Bakers kindly added the information.

I wondered when exactly the information was added, so I just checked it and it's added in this month's update (2016.07). So, you won't see it if you're still on 2016.06 or earlier.
