IK's Lurssen Mastering Console...
Not sure where to post this as it is both a "deal" and software. But since this, more or less, is a review...I thought it best to start here. I picked the Lurssen Mastering Console up in the IKM BOGO sale a couple days ago and have been "re-mastering" several of my projects on my SoundCloud page (referenced below). Should post most or all tomorrow or Monday. While this plugin is not "perfect" in that you'll have the ability to tweak everything it controls...it is very good and very quick to get great results in mastering or re-mastering your projects. The key is to not "pre-master" your projects before using the plugin. In other words...don't crank everything up to "eleven" with limiting and such before bringing it into LMC. You can either use it as your "mastering" plugin on your mix buss...or...as I prefer...to master your stereo mix independently. Again...you can achieve much the same (or even better) results by building your own chain of mastering effects and tweaking the dog doo out of them...or get good to great results by simply picking a preset from the LMC GUI and then tweaking that. Well worth the BOGO deal. IMHO.

Ozone Advanced is far better...
I did several "side by side" comparisons" and, to me, O7A was far better all the way around.
Lurrsen is more "quick and easy", but nowhere near as "polished" as O7A...YMMV

I think the perfect scenario for this kinda tools is to take advantage of the instant truth .....
When i produce , i premix on the fly to keep the artistic direction ....let say if i re open the track 6 month later ....i will have a print of where i wanted to go .....this tools would be great to have some pretty pre mastered for client listening ....
Usually i don t mix and work on a track before client choice then i go deep ...it alllows me to make way more tracks !!!

When working on my music projects I have the same habit Zo, ol pal. I sort of mix as I go along. Only problem with that is even with freezing tracks I usually come to a point where I can't really record anymore due to CPU load versus latency. Sigh. I want it all:-)

I got Lurssens with the bogo deal too, by purchasing an iloud, and find it simple with fantastic results. The iloud has simply blown me away too. For use at wedding ceremonies in gardens etc where there is no power, just great. The sound quality and volume is staggering considering the size of the thing, which takes, mike, guitar, Bluetooth. But I'm adding my thoughts because I want to give IK a massive rap. After 3 returns to the dealer, the iloud was eventually replaced due to a faulty battery or internal connection. Upon replacement, registering the new one gave me another credit under the bogo deal. I was in contact with IK direct about the iloud, and told them about the 'extra' in my account, as there is no way to remove the other registration. They more than kindly gave me the credit for my troubles. So, the initial purchase gave me 300 credits. Enough for the Lurssens and then some. The second iloud gave me another 300 gear credits. I used some jam points to purchase Sampletank 3. That gave me more points, plus ANOTHER 300 gear credit under bogo, which I used to purchase Miroslave Philmarmonik 2, Amplitube 4, and have enough points and gear credits to pick up some sample libraries. This company amazes me with some of their deals and customer reward programs. A huge public thanks to IK for absolutely going above and beyond. But back to the OP. It's great. No, it's not Ozone, it's something completely different. Even if you just wanted to leave it in the master mix bus while tracking and developing the mix to get things 'almost' there, it's worth it alone IMO. Great product. Next, I want to try Waves new parallel compression plug. Anything that works well and can save me time, I'm interested in.

In fact when i say i premix on the fly is after production decision , i bounce in audio everything and then start premix is usually treat during production with zero latency plugins and lihght ones ...
