Hi welcome to the songs forum.  The vocal sounds in a different space to the backing track, possibly a little to forward, there is some distortion, possibly an overload at around the 1:20 mark.  Perhaps a little remix is in order.  Thanks for sharing.

    Fun!

On your vocal track, did you record it too hot around 1:14 for example? That crunchy stuff is you likely overloading your converters on the way in? Just a guess. When you look at your vocal waveform at 1:14, does it fill all the way to the top? An overload?

Welcome to the forum, I look forward to hearing more of your stuff.

    cheers,

emeraldsoul...there is always an overload whenever I record. I try to stay away from the Mic but sometimes it just picks that sound up. I gave up on that a long time ago.

It's a comfortable tune but I would work on your vocal pitch and the other guys gave you some good advice.  Welcome to the forum!

Welcome to the forum.  OK song, but have to agree with the others on the vocal.

Hang on, I wonder if you could describe your input chain (what mic? what interface? what other pre-amp or software?) and maybe we could get that overload outta there.
