Instrumental Song

Hi all,
here's a song a made over 10 years ago..
Today I want to introduce it to you, and wanna ask what you think of it..
I recorded it with a Yamaha 4 Track, 4th Track was a Sync-Track for my Roland R5 Drummachine..
Do you think I should re-record it ? I had some try's with my band, but never even got close to it.. and I never found a way (at least for this version) to put Lyrics on..
Thanks for your time
Frank

This reminds me of def lepard......Sounds more 80's than 90's. Kinda song we would listen to when have soft rock sundays (where you are only to chose a soft rock song from the jukebox) Well put together.

Frank, Nice tune. The recording sound over saturated in the bass / low mids. If you came up with a lyric it would be worth re-recording. I think I heard some places where the guitar on the delay was stepping on the rhythm.

    Nice relaxed peice.

    Frank,

I'm not sure the right song is comin' up. I'm seeing "Cominhome" not "Song for Michelle" in Windows Media Player.

yeah its the right song.. :)

As I dont have any lyrics for this perticular version I thought I just could rename it to "Song for Michelle (Morgan)" (A friend I had in 1980-82 when I was livin' in Sugar Land, Texas...)
A faster band-version with some lyrics was named "comin' home"
    so far for the explanation..

Thanks for your replies, while listening to the song today I rather think it's just a bit too slow and too unexciting..
