Sonar 2016.07 Importing Question

Hey everybody,

Before I updated last evening, I had been able to use Windows Explorer to drag/drop audio tracks directly into Sonar and it would pull them right in very quickly and perfectly.  I'm not able to do that now, but instead I had to go to File, Import, Browse, etc, and follow that method.  Is there a new setting somewhere I need to look at?

Thanks!

Donny

Regardless of the version, this is usually caused by running SONAR as administrator. The media browser in SONAR permits drag and drop whether running as administrator or not.

I can confirm that this is caused by running SONAR as administrator. I had the same problem not too long ago (right after migrating to win10).

If you do NOT run as admin, you should be able to drag/drop as always (but check your plugs if some of them require admin rights - this requirement is a bit dated and I kicked out all 32 plugs and I'm current on all 64 bits with latest versions, so no need for me to run Sonar as admin)

Thanks gentlemen.  Ya'll are awesome.  I'll chime back in once the kids get off the Windows machine and I can give it a try.
