Wow, I was searching for some answers to midi questions, and this cat's name kept showing up in the search. Knew his stuff see? Then I read he metamorphed? Folks like him are rare. Never did I read a disparaging post. Do you think he would like Sonar Platinum? Jesse Q. Screed

He was really one of the few outstanding and up right guys....continuously helped everyone in here and most of the times, went above and beyond in helping. I learned a lot from just reading his posts as we well as personally asking for all kinds of help during my early adventures with Sonar. Most importantly, his excellent manner and conduct set a high standard which influenced others to be better people. A very kind, caring and respectable guy........he'll certainly will be missed. RIP

He was not in favor of X1, hence why he moved to Reaper, and IIRC he was a CW beta tester (someone here said that, I have no first hand knowledge) and left the beta team after X1 was released. Take from that what you will.

Another golden age member who was extremely knowledgeable was "yep". Not just CW knowledgeable but audio engineering, mixing and mastering knowledgeable. I beieve he is alive and well on the Reaper forum. That is not a plug for Reaper, that's just the last place I knew of him active.

Huh? I thought bamidi was Billy Arnell, who passed away some years back. Did I get some names confused?

I have no idea other than seeing an Avatar with the bamidi "can" over on that other forum recently. Could be a different dude using the same glyph for all I know

Yup, there was HUGE thread (for the family) posted in by many forum members praising the help and friendship he gave us all.
