SOnar for Mac

I currently run windows on my MAC PRO so that I can use Sonar Platinum. To switch to the MAC product will I need to make an entire new purchase or is there some crossover plan................I'd like to know before I commit to lifetime updates

    My understanding is that it will be an no cost option. Its Sonar you buy and will be available to the user to run on a Windows machine or an Apple machine or both.
